Treasure Hunts are on a set day and time where there is an Adventure List required to unlock the treasure map and a buried treasure awaits the winner. Scavenger Hunts are available 24/7/365 and participants can start whenever they want, there is no Adventure List, the Hunt begins with clues and treasure map in the app and there is no buried treasure. 

It typically takes about 2-3 hours for the treasure to be found after the event has started.

Nope! Your teammates may register anytime before Hunt Day. You cannot participate by yourself, the app will not allow it. 

Treasure Hunts are played in teams of 2-4 people.

One team per Hunt.
