How It Works

1. Initial Adventure List
   
   The hunt will kick off with an adventure list of challenges. Teams complete as many tasks as possible to earn points, and once they’ve reached a set threshold, they unlock their first clue to begin the treasure hunt. This adds an extra layer of excitement and teamwork from the very start.
   
   

2. Custom Treasure Hunt Creation
   
   We design a unique scavenger hunt experience tailored to your preferences. Teams of 2-4 compete to find a treasure chest filled with prizes, completing challenges and solving clues along the way.

   Typical hunt distances range from 2-15 miles but can be adjusted to fit your needs—whether that means keeping it compact or spreading out over a larger area.

3. App-Based Gameplay
   
   The hunt is facilitated through the Adventure Hunt app (available on iOS and Android), where participants:

   • Receive their starting clue or adventure list.
   • Track their progress and receive notifications.
   • Upload videos and photos to verify completed challenges.

   Your company can choose to have teams upload their challenge content to Instagram for added visibility or to a designated Teams or Slack channel for real-time verification.

4. Fully Customizable Challenges
   
   Challenges are carefully curated based on your goals and team dynamics. These can include:

   • Adventurous: Activities like short physical challenges or exploring new locations.
   • Funny: Tasks that spark laughter and creativity.
   • Charity: Acts of kindness, like buying coffee for a stranger or helping someone in need.
   • Social Media: Posting creative content or engaging with your company’s platforms.

   Examples of specific challenges:

   • Record a creative 30-second video demonstrating team spirit.
   • Take a themed photo at a key location.
   • Eat a whole donut in one bite.
   • Answer trivia questions about the company or industry.
   • Perform a simple physical challenge (e.g., a three-legged race or mini obstacle course).
     
     

5. Race to the Finish Teams progress through the hunt by earning enough points from challenges to unlock clues leading to the next destination. The first team to complete all challenges and find the treasure chest wins!

Planning and Customization

We’ll collaborate with you every step of the way to create a meaningful and impactful experience. Leading up to the event:

• We’ll send a questionnaire to gather details about your event date, goals, participants, preferred challenges, distance, and timeframe.
• We’ll schedule calls to discuss expectations and ensure everything aligns with your vision.
• Once created, we'll send you details of the proposed challenges and hunt stop locations for your approval.

• If desired, we can also send an Adventure Hunt team member onsite to help manage the event in person, ensuring everything runs smoothly and participants have a great experience.

Participant Registration

We make it simple for your team to join the fun! Once you provide the total number of participants (which helps determine event cost), we’ll create a registration page with a set participant limit. From there:

• Employees register to participate and download the Adventure Hunt app.
• Participants accept a waiver and create or join a team (2-4 members per team).
• Teams select a fun team name and are ready to go!

The treasure chest can include prizes provided by your company, such as:

• Gift cards, PTO days, or company swag.
• Memorable experiences like spa days or travel vouchers.

Adventure Hunt can also provide small branded items for the winning team, like water bottles, drawstring bags, or waterproof phone pouches.
