- Check-in: Thurs. Sept. 23 – Checkout: Tues. Sept. 28
- Airport code is KOA (Kona, Hawaii)
- Everyone needs a negative covid test before departure
- Test must be taken no more than 72 hrs before arrival in Kona
- i.e. if you land at 2pm Thurs. Sept. 28, then your test should be administered no earlier than 2pm Mon. Sept. 20
- Test must be from approved Hawaii Travel Partner
- I prefer Walgreens because it’s a free, non-invasive, self-administered test at their drive through locations, by appointment only though

- CTR (Choose The Red) as these are the NAAT rapid tests. Approved by Hawaii with results in an hour.
- Appointment time slots are released daily at 5pm for 3 days out. So if you want a test on Tues. Sept. 21, book it at 5pm on Sat. Sept. 18.

Saturday, Sept. 25 (still TBD)
- 8am: Leave toward Waimea
- Waimea Farmer’s Market + Waipio Valley OR White Road Hike (take your pick)
- White Road Hike
- takes about 3 hrs (5 including drive time), is muddy but not too steep or strenuous, has gorgeous views when weather is clear, and ends with an epic sugarcane chute waterslide. A bit dangerous and adventurous, so not for everyone.
- 12:30pm: Lunch in Waimea @ The Fish And The Hog (not included in excursion, but recommended while out this way)

- 2 swimsuits
- Clothes for each day (as a guy, I usually take a few t-shirts, a couple pairs of shorts, 1 pair of pants, 1 long sleeve shirt/hoodie, a few underwear–washer & dryer in mansion)
- Sandals
- Hike/water shoes (Chacos, Tevas, etc.)
- Regular shoes
- Water bottle (to reuse daily on excursions)
- A hat of some sort for extra sun protection
- Travel size toiletries
- Travel size sunscreen
- Travel size insect repellent
- Travel size hand sanitizer
- Sunglasses
- Phone, laptop, chargers
- Wallet + ID
- Face mask
- Negative Covid-19 test results as outlined above
- Travel Insurance (recommended, especially with Covid issues still lingering, no refunds will be issued if you happen to test positive or something as we can't control that)
- About $100 cash in 20s, 10s and 5s. This will be used for tipping locals. Sean and Adventure Hunt do not accept tips, but ask that if you appreciate a service, please tip the local guide or service provider.

FAQ's:
**Bedrooms: Not every couple/person will have their own bedroom, some bedrooms are shared.
**How firm is the Itinerary? Pretty firm, but weather, available services, etc. can change things. Also, this is your trip! If there's something you don't want to participate in or something else you'd rather do, you're welcome to do that! We'll stick to our planned itinerary for all those who want to join the group.
