Getting the Most of Your Event's Instagram Exposure
Your company will be tagged in many Instagram Stories during your event. Below are some good tips on how to make the most of this great marketing opportunity!
- The social reach is significant for Adventure Hunt events. You may have a lot of new eyeballs on your Instagram profile. Make sure your bio, profile image, link, etc. are correct and how you want them.
- You may want to make a strategic post just before the event so that your most recent post is what you want people to see/know most outside of what's in your bio. We can also incorporate this post into the Adventure List challenges, i.e. "tag 3 friends in _____ most recent IG posts" to earn 2 pts.
- Find your mentions in the Instagram Direct Messages. These can be found from the home screen/feed on Instagram via the arrow in the top right corner of your screen.
- In these DMs you'll likely also see "requested" followed by a number. These are mentions and/or messages from people who you don't follow. It's simply an Instagram messaging filter.
- We strongly recommend that you take time to "repost to your story" the best mentions of the day. These are posts that will be viewable on your profile for 24 hours.
- We also recommend you take the time to like posts you're mentioned in, and respond to these mentions in your DMs, thanking participants, laughing with them, etc.
- You can also download Instagram Story Repost apps and save the best videos to create a recap of your event. Or if you prefer, we can do it for you for a fee of $750. That includes all the downloading of best videos and editing them to music for a nice 1-2 min recap video.
